Let's remember the diagram we saw in Study 1. 

The first step to achieve it is to control the center with our pawns.

Black doesn't have any piece or pawn beyond their 6th rank.

Black plays another move that doesn't challenge you.

If Black doesn't challenge you for the center, you'll probably be able to play the 10 golden moves.

The next important golden move is to castle. 

This gets the king to safety and activates the rook.

It's possible Black does not do anything to challenge you. In which case, you have to continue with developing knights before bishops.

After developing the knights, we can go ahead and get our bishops out.

White can now connect the rooks by moving the queen up.

The knight comes out to f3 and supports the d4-pawn.

Black pushes another pawn without fighting for the center.

1. e4 is a great move that prepares everything. 

It opens up your bishop.

And you can get the other bishop out now.

White completes the 10 golden moves and achieves a great setup.

And the other knight comes out and supports the e4-pawn. 

This is a benefit of developing your pieces. You can use them to support your central pawns and control central squares along with your pawns.

These two pawn moves embody the opening principle of controlling the center. 

The pawns work together to control central squares.
