Chapter 4: Tactics

In the 4th and final chapter, you will learn some elementary tactics. Tactics are short, forcing sequences which usually win you some pieces or help you deliver a checkmate.

You cannot improve at chess if you do not practice tactics.

The good news is that tactics are basically little puzzles which are all based on patterns. If you see them a few times, you will learn them. Most people who want to become super strong at tactics puzzles will solve them online
